MCCD Board playing children's games - Latina President Fired as Retaliation to Latino Community

On December 11, 2003, The Voice newspaper reported Attorney Daniel Ortega, quoting “It’s hard to believe but, there are members that are pressuring Dr. Glasper to find a way not to renew Dr. Gardea’s contract. We are here to talk about the hidden agenda.”

Well, last night, the MCCD (The Largest Community College District in the world) board sent Phoenix College President Corina Gardea a FEDEX saying she was no longer employed. I was really disappointed for several reasons. Gardea did everything she was asked to do, yet a teacher (Search for Walter Kehowski) at Glendale Community College attacks diversity and is not even reprimanded for his actions.

I believe that MCCD board fired Gardea in retaliation for the faculty and five students filing a Federal class action suit against Maricopa Community College District for Kehowski's remarks on a publically funded community college server.
